Short version: Unoff is free and open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Use it, modify it, sell what you build with it. If you modify Unoff's own files, share those changes under the same license. The Unoff and Yelbolt names and logos stay ours.

Effective date: October 18, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Unoff, published by Yelbolt, including the CLI, the boilerplates, the unoff-ui component library, the agentic skills, and the Claude Code plugin (together, the "Tools"). By using the Tools, you agree to these terms.

1. License

The source code of the Tools is licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL 2.0). The license text is the reference; this section summarizes it in plain language.

✅ You can

• Use the Tools for free, for personal or commercial purposes
• Build, publish, and sell your own plugins with the Tools
• Modify the Tools and redistribute them, including under another name
• Combine the Tools with your own code, under any license, including proprietary code (a "Larger Work")
• Benefit from the patent rights granted by contributors

📌 You must

• Keep the MPL 2.0 license and copyright notices in the files you redistribute
• Make the source code of any modified MPL files available, under MPL 2.0, when you distribute them
• Tell recipients where they can obtain that source code

The copyleft applies at the file level: your own files, kept separate from Unoff's files, can remain closed source. Only changes made inside Unoff's files must be shared back under the same license.

❌ You cannot

• Use the Unoff or Yelbolt names, logos, or visual identity to promote your product, or suggest an endorsement, without written permission, to request at [email protected] (MPL 2.0 grants no trademark rights)
• Relicense Unoff's files under a more restrictive license
