Mixpanel gives you user analytics with session replays and custom events to understand how people actually use your plugin.

Quick Setup

To enable Mixpanel in your project, you only need two things:

  1. Set isMixpanelEnabled: true in global.config.ts
  2. Add the token to your .env.local file:
VITE_MIXPANEL_TOKEN=your-mixpanel-token

Step 1 — Create a Mixpanel project

  1. Go to mixpanel.com and create an account (or log in)
  2. Click Create Project in the top-left dropdown
  3. Give it a name (e.g. "My Figma Plugin")
  4. Choose the EU data residency if you want data stored in the EU (recommended — the Unoff template uses the EU endpoint by default)
  5. Once created, go to Settings → Project Settings
  6. Copy the Project Token (a 32-character hex string like abc123def456...)
  7. Paste it into your .env.local file (see above)

Optional: enable Session Replay

Mixpanel offers Session Replay to watch real user interactions:

  1. In the Mixpanel dashboard, go to Session Replay in the left sidebar
  2. Click Enable Session Replay for your project
